Not such a stunning start to this season
1st Grade 4 Trios (March Selection)
A decent sound and reasonable performance, apart from a finger slip in one part :-(
2nd and 3rd Grade 4 Mini Bands (March Selection)
Not a bad sound (bit of harshness on High A's) and a reasonable performance (just lacking a bit of 'sparkle')
Congratulations to the Nottingham Police for taking the first place today ahead of our two mini bands
3rd Grade 4 Mini Bands (MSR)
Much like the March contest - not bad but spoiled by finger slips and discord on High A's, plus some uneven blowing at times
2nd Grade 3 Mini Bands (Medley)
Again, reasonable but piper cutting in and out and the discord on High A didn't help
