Without a doubt one of the best performances the band has put up in many, many years, although the final result was extremely disappointing!
(2nd in Piping and 1st in Drumming)
Our tone was much sharper and sweeter than we've been playing in past years and the peformance went well, with no mistakes or slips.

This was an absolute joy to play in!
A slight slip in the intro tune (not commented on by the judge), plus some ragged fingering in the jig - but overall a good performance from the band
A nice finish to the prize giving was a special presentation to the band from the Corby contest organisers for our loyal support to the event over many years
