Good start with reasonable tone, although a little thin on the top and getting thinner towards the end of the performance. Couple that with some uneven blowing and one fingering slip, duly commented on by the judge, put us in 3rd place in Piping.

However 1st in Ensemble and 2nd in Drumming saw us scrape through into the top spot on ensemble preference.
