GRADE IV

A few fingering slips in the last tune of the set from the pipe corps were very dissapointing, but at last the tone seems to be settling down. (We set a little flatter today to try and compensate for the high temperatures - upto 38 deg C!)

Drum corps were absolutely disgusted with their own performance and a few words of "encouragement" were heard at the next practice!

All things taken into account though a 4th place wasn't a bad result, only half a point away from 3rd. Perhaps if we can get a clean run from both corps without any mistakes things will get better.

We'll see at Ashbourne next weekend.
