Based on this performance (although not necessarily the final result) we're feeling that things are moving in the right direction. Fourth in piping was a good result even though some rather obvious errors were made and duly commented on by the piping judge! Piping Tone was equal with the best on the day. (13 pts)

Obviously the pipers were so pleased with how they were performing that they decided to let rip with this performance and unfortunately that left the drummers working like maniacs just to try and keep up with them.

Needless to say both the drumming and ensemble marks definitely suffered as a result.

Oh well, one of these days we'll get both corps to be satisfied with their performance. 

The immediate challenge is to keep making the advances we've made over the season during the coming holiday period. Our next contest is Cowal!
